Josh is a founder of Mornington Partners, and leads the M&A activity for portfolio companies and new investment opportunities.
Prior to Mornington he most recently worked at Catalyst/Alantra Corporate Finance where he advised on numerous buy and sell side M&A transactions. During this period Josh specialised on transactions within the industrials and business services sectors, as well as focusing on PE transactions.
Josh previously worked with Will at Lesmoir-Gordon, Boyle & Co. (LGB) where he advised early stage and mid-market businesses on their growth strategy, as well as executed a number of M&A transactions.
Josh is a keen traveller who enjoys brushing up on the Spanish he picked up living in Buenos Aires and Madrid.

Hazell-Smith
Partner
Will is a founder of Mornington Partners and has an active role within the portfolio companies. Will and Josh are both involved across M&A and operational aspects.
Will previously spent six years working in small company investing at LGB, a boutique merchant bank, Will was responsible for investing in IP-based businesses across a number of sectors and was also heavily involved in strategic and operational reviews, debt raising and structuring for a wide variety of companies.
Will is an enthusiastic squash player, but enjoys nothing more than a trip skiing in the Alps.

Jack
Clinton
Operating Partner
Jack joined Mornington in October 2020 to lead Rock Compliance’s technology development as Chief Information Officer, now working in leading technology based roles across Mornington’s portfolio.
Jack was previously a systems developer within Natixis and RBS before leading the development team at a the capital markets fintech start-up, Open Gamma.
Jack is also a fan of the slopes and when not geeking-out over technology, Jack can be found ferrying around his children to their various activities.

Associate
George joined Mornington in August 2021 supporting the team with origination and execution of new M&A opportunities as well as getting involved in projects across the Mornington portfolio.
Previously, George worked at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) where he partnered with value-focused fund managers on their primary research.
He is a CFA Charterholder and in his spare time he enjoys training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, surfing and fishing.
